Terms of Service

Evident Labs is for licensed clinicians — physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other credentialed professionals we support. You must give accurate professional information and keep it current. We verify credentials and may suspend accounts we cannot verify.

You are responsible for your account and for anything done through it.

Please read this section carefully.

Some Evident Labs activities are accredited and eligible for CME or CE credit. Others are educational but not accredited. Each activity states which it is, and credit is only recorded for eligible accredited activities.

Accreditation varies by activity, credential type, jurisdiction, and time. Evident Labs does not guarantee that any particular board, state, employer, or credentialing body will accept a given credit. Confirming that a credit satisfies your requirements is your responsibility.

Evident Labs helps you track your continuing education. Tracking is not the same as reporting. Unless we state otherwise for a specific activity, we do not submit your credit to state boards or licensing bodies on your behalf.

Evident Labs is an educational service. Activities use constructed or de-identified cases and are not a substitute for clinical judgment, institutional protocol, or the care of an actual patient. Nothing on Evident Labs establishes a clinician–patient relationship or should be relied on to make decisions about a specific patient.

Do not submit protected health information about your patients.

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting responses, you grant Evident Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and create derivative works from them in order to operate the service, produce peer comparisons, and — in de-identified and aggregated form — build datasets used to evaluate and improve medical AI.

This licence covers your clinical judgment, not your identity. Your name and contact information are not included in datasets shared with third parties.

You can change whether your responses contribute to medical AI evaluation in your account settings. Changing that setting applies going forward; it does not retract judgment already incorporated into a delivered dataset.

You agree not to:

Activities, cases, comparison data, and the software are owned by Evident Labs or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own continuing education. Nothing else is granted.

Eligible activities described as free are free to the clinician. If we introduce paid features, we will make the price clear before you are charged and these terms will be updated.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we cannot verify, or where required by law. Records we must retain for accreditation purposes survive account closure.

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evident Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, or that content is complete, current, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evident Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost credit, or licensure consequences arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or one hundred US dollars.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located there.
